Revenue and Finance Officer

About the role
The Revenue and Finance Officer plays a crucial role in the financial operations of the Council by providing effective leadership in strategic financial management and risk management.
This position is responsible for the management of the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions, managing and collecting Council’s debtors, and supporting the Revenue Manager in various financial reporting and auditing tasks.

Who we are looking for
Ideally, you will possess:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a local government or public sector environment.
  • High level of accuracy in processing and managing financial transactions.
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent service and resolving customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with financial management software, electronic banking systems, and advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
