Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Facilities Operations Coordinator on a permanent, full-time basis. The Facilities Operations Coordinator coordinates and facilitates administrative support and operational logistics for facilities related activities and initiatives. Key responsibilities:
Play a key role in assisting with the daily operations of academic and university accommodation facilities to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Proactively monitor building systems within Property Services, ensuring optimal facility operation, including temperature regulation and quick resolution of non-critical alerts.
Promptly and accurately handle purchase orders in response to requests from Mata Awhinuku - Facilities Managers, ensuring efficient and timely processing.
Assist Mata Awhinuku - Facilities Managers in obtaining competitive quotes to secure efficient procurement and cost-effective solutions that align with operational and budgetary requirements.
Assist Mata Awhinuku - Facilities Managers by coordinating the necessary permits for maintenance activities and events.
Efficiently manage both physical and electronic documentation systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and easy access for audits, inspections, and legal requirements.

Proficiency in MS Office.
