Discover a career with purpose at MBIE * Provide support services to MBIE staff and the public * Deliver high-quality customer service across the region. * Permanent position based in Christchurch. * Salary range: $55,624 - $65,829 + Kiwisaver Tēnei tūranga - About the Role: The Facilities and Workplace Coordinator is responsible for providing professional, customer-focused support services to MBIE staff and the public whilst providing effective facilities management support in the Facilities Team.
Reporting to the Facilities and Workplace Team Leader further duties include:
- Delivery of reception services with a strong customer service focus. * Managing and supporting general administration duties. * Organising building maintenance and security access. * Logging and managing of jobs through the Facilities Management software. * Building strong relationships with premises occupants and external subcontractors. Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and Experience Required: * Demonstrated experience in a customer service role providing support to individuals and teams. * Proven facilities and/or administrative experience. * Ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of people. * Can do attitude and a high level of initiative and discretion. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to prioritise work to achieve MBIE outcomes * Proactive and assured customer service skills gained from working in front facing customer-centric roles, balancing both incoming calls and visitors who need your care and attention * Good verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
