The opportunity
The experience and ability to liaise, with community groups, environmental, user groups, other organisations that have an interest in Council reserves and facilities.
The role will also see you building on important connections with tangata whenua.
To set you up for success, you'll have

A relevant tertiary qualification eg; horticulture, environmental practices, landscaping.
Experience in a similar role could be an advantage.
The ability to assist individuals associated with achieving community outcomes across the public reserves network.
Skills supporting volunteer stakeholder groups.
Practical knowledge of heath and safety in this environment.
Great time management.
Experience developing, reviewing, providing input, and implementing associated work programmes and plans.
Skills responding to and supporting staff in relation to customer requests and issues.
Experience and working knowledge of plants and vegetation management, maintenance and control practices.
Familiarity with machinery and equipment.
