Established in 1995, Tūwharetoa ki Kawerau Hauora provides top-notch health, education, and social services to all residents within the rohe of Tuwharetoa ki Kawerau and the Eastern Bay of Plenty. They are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Change Manager with administrative and project requirements, while the organisation undergoes a period of change.

At Tūwharetoa ki Kawerau Hauora, people are at the forefront of what they do, both within the team, and in the wider community. The Temporary Executive Assistant works closely with the Change Manager, assisting with short term administrative and project requirements to carry out daily management of change management matters. The position offers approximately 30 hours per week with some flex needed in fixed term capacity of approximately six-eight months duration.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:
  • Provide exceptional executive support, perform all administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner
  • Diary management, act as first point of contact for all Change Manager enquiries
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings, organise catering, and book accommodation and facilities as required
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, distribute and follow up on action points
  • Project work, prepare reports and proposal documents as directed for change management processes
  • General administrative and secretarial duties to support Change Manager

Nga pūkenga me whai | The successful candidate requirements:
  • A relevant professional qualification in administrative/secretarial support, or similar
  • Previous experience providing executive administrative support to a senior leader
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to operate and prioritise conflicting demands in a very busy environment to complete deadlines and responsibilities required
  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality, this is key
  • Excellent note taking, transcription and computer literacy skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office functions
  • Possess strong and effective communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a diverse organisation in a similar role
  • Strong relationship and network management
  • Understanding of tikanga Māori

RECRUITMENT INFORMATION
