Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for property management and a knack for building strong relationships? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities? If so, we would like to hear from you.
The Role:
We are looking for a Director of Property who can develop strong relationships across the business while building the team to do the same. This role requires a strong people leader, someone who can clearly articulate their vision, has solid management skills and can multitask all those random property issues that routinely pop up. This role will ensure the delivery of the core property function is a seamless and integrated aspect of a wider corporate services offering.
This role is a key one for Te Tari Taiwhenua and provides strategic leadership, oversight and management of our property portfolio and ensures the successful delivery of the Property team’s work programme.
This role is suitable for someone who has a strong customer delivery focus and works well with stakeholders. The Property function maturity plan has recently been established and we are looking for someone to continue this momentum, apply their expertise and continue to drive the team forward.
This opportunity is well suited to someone working towards a General Manager role.
About the team:
The Director of Property sits within the Property Team in Workplace Services group, Organisational Capability and Services (OCS). The OCS branch is dedicated to supporting the rest of Te Tari Taiwhenua to succeed by providing corporate services that help business groups and kaimahi make the best contribution to New Zealand.
Why Join Us?
  • Impactful Work: Lead a critical function that supports the broader mission of Te Tari Taiwhenua impacting the lives of New Zealanders.
  • Professional Growth: With the momentum of a newly established Property plan, this is your opportunity to make your mark and drive the team forward.
  • Supportive Environment: Join a team that values collaboration, innovation, and the contributions of each member.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity and inclusion. We recognise a diverse workforce contributes to better business outcomes. We are committed to creating a workplace where all employees have equal access.
If you’re ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute to the success of Te Tari Taiwhenua, we want to hear from you!
