Join our team as a full time Butchery Manager at New World Paremata! We pay top market rates!
We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Butchery manager to work full time in our butchery team.
About the role:
- Daily cut & packing to the highest quality and standards of presentation.
- A strong people focus, leading a team of 2-3 people each day, and working well with others.
- Planning and executing all facets of the day-to-day operations of the department including ordering, filling, promotional planning and operational processes.
- Achieve agreed retail standards, department sales, GP and wage targets.
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified butcher with proven experience or similar role in a retail or supermarket environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
