Inwards Goods Store Person - NW Stonefields

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Storeperson. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our inwards goods, including but not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:

Tasks:

Unloading trucks and delivery vans
Marking off all products that come through the back door ensuring the quantities received match the pick slips / invoices.
Placing stock appropriately in the correct locations ensuring appropriate stock rotation.
Ensuring the store room is kept clear of rubbish and blockages at all times allowing for clear access.
Ensuring the inwards goods area is clean, tidy, and well-organized, undertaking additional housekeeping as required (e.g. sweeping the floors, dealing with spillages and breakages, cleaning shelves etc.)
Operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Processing all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
Following health and safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
Assisting in other areas of the store as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a storeperson or similar role
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
Forklift license preferred.
