Grocery Associate
We are seeking a dedicated Grocery Associate to join our team, offering a work schedule that respects your time and well-being. Work 4 days a week and enjoy a 3-day weekend, every week. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Should be physically fit
- Have a fantastic work ethic
- Excellent customer service skills
- Keen to learn new things
- Great presentation skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and self-manage
- Reliable and not afraid of hard work Prepared to pitch in wherever needed including cleaning to comply with food safety regulations
- Able to multitask and use initiative
- Have the ability to work under pressure
- Complete the tasks of a Grocery Associate, including (but not limited to):
- Bringing stock from the storeroom as required
- Filling shelves and facing up appropriately with minimal disruption to customers
- Making sure the displays/shelves are appropriately stocked and well presented
- Helping and assisting customers with their enquiries and taking them to the product when required
- Out of Stock management
- Have the ability to self-manage and have good time management skills
- Ensuring stock rotation is adhered to
- Ensuring the aisles are kept clear of rubbish and blockages at all times allowing for clear customer access
- Undertaking additional housekeeping as required (e.g. sweeping the floors, dealing with spillages and breakages, cleaning shelves etc.)
- Other tasks across the store as required
