As an Automotive tutor you will be comfortable working in a collaborative and progressive team. You will have current knowledge of the Automotive Industry. This is a full-time permanent position. The Automotive Tutor is based in our Centre for Trades at Wintec| Te Pūkenga reporting to the Team Manager and will be responsible for: The appointing salary for this role will be between $70,400 and $85,000, dependent on skills and experience.
Teaching face to face classes
Developing teaching resources and assessments
Assessing students’ work
Working closely with colleagues who are teaching on the same programme
Liaising with colleagues in industry to encourage students’ innovation and creative thinking
Enhancing the professional quality and direction of the automotive industry.

To be successful in this role you will have:
At least 5 years industry experience (preferred)
Suitable qualifications and current industrial experience in the Automotive Engineering industry
