Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role
The appointing salary for this role will be between $101,400 and $130,000, dependent on skills and experience.
Kaihautū will provide transformational leadership across the organisation. We would like to talk with you if you have demonstrated experience in mātauranga Māori as well as experience in any of the following: education, strategic leadership and management, communication or events. You will work with executive staff, corporate units, faculty and support staff to improve outcomes for Māori. Our areas of strategic focus are:

  • Tangata (Learner-Centred Support)
  • Kōtahitanga (Partnership & Collaboration)
  • Kaiako (Teaching & Learning)
  • Poutama (Systems)
  • Hangarau (Technology)

  • He Kura Whakaumu (Success, Retention)

  • Can deliver on the vision of strong and exciting outcomes for Māori students and staff.
  • Listens and collaborates to drive change.
