This is an exceptional opportunity to play an integral role in our advice to Ministers during a critical time in the transformation of the health system. Joining our team will see you working in a caring and collaborative team environment, advancing your skills and career, while shaping a better tomorrow for all New Zealanders.
Mō mātou | About Us
At The Treasury Te Tai Ōhanga we're creating a better future for New Zealand and everyone who calls our amazing country home. We're the Government's economic and financial advisor, working hard to raise the standard of living for everyone in Aotearoa, now and in the future.

You will have an opportunity to work in a number of exciting areas across the team's work programme, including on workforce, infrastructure and ACC funding and policy settings. The particulars of the work programme will be relative to the skills and experience of the candidate. You will work alongside senior representatives across health agencies and interact frequently with the Minister of Finance's office.

We are seeking candidates with a broad public sector/policy background. Experience with the health sector, ACC and/or public finance policy, Crown entities and/or Budget processes would be an advantage but is not essential. If you have been successful in guiding critical and complex policy areas, and you understand how to use your communication, leadership, relationship and analytical skills to get traction on complex policy problems, then we would like to hear from you. For Senior Analyst applications, a minimum of five years' policy experience is a must.
