We are searching for a senior manager who is able to lead the global product design team for Creams, based in Wageningen. The team underneath consists of two managers reporting into this role as direct reports, who each lead a team of 4-5 technologists.
About the position
- Leading the global R&D product portfolio for all cream related projects, crème fraiche, sour cream, whipping cream, multipurpose, coffee cream, for all channels (ie Retail, FS, private label, industrial)
- Proactively translating and proposing business needs (based on brand funnels) into the R&D agenda
- Continuously screening new technologies for new opportunities to improve quality and cost and translating for upscale feasibly with your internal business partner with a medium and long term mile stone agenda.
- Leading, partnering to building the new US product portfolio from scratch in to the future
- TPL for selected initiatives
- Key interfaces: technology teams within R&D / regional teams R&D / brand teams

- Record profen leadership skills to build effective teams.
- Unconventional ability to deliver tight timelines with passion
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to simplify the complex.
- Strong communication skills.
- Min 10 years hands on technology experience in creams, emulsion, fermentation and similar liquid process.
- Successful R&D project leader experience for larger multi million upscale projects
