We are looking for a EHS Technician to join our EHS team. Based in Piedras Negras, Coahuila the candidate will be responsible to follow and give support to EHS Coordinator and Supervisor of Piedras Negras Plant.
An EHS technician is responsible for give support and evaluating and implementing safety and environmental programs in the workplace. This includes support to conducting risk assessments, developing policies and procedures, and providing training to employees. They also work to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Our EHS
Key Responsibilities
- Support to environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct workplace inspections and audits
- Support to do safety training programs and sessions.
- Support to do risk assessments and strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Support manage hazardous waste management programs
- Support to review relevant regulations and ensure compliance.
- Learning Maintain and analyze safety records and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support to Manage emergency response plans and procedures.
Requirements
- Technician in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field
- Familiarity with current environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Experience in designing and delivering safety training programs and sessions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
