We are looking for a Production Supervisor join our Manufacturing team. Based in Tetla – Mexico.
Main responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with the requirements, standards, policies and procedures of the ISO 9001, TL 9000, 14k, 45k,50 (comprehensive management system), 6S, LEAN and SIGMA systems (point to verify with quality system) SOS , monitoring and promoting its application and observance throughout the Company, in order to align all activities carried out with its Organizational Culture.
Propose and implement actions that allow compliance with the production program and increase productivity based on the analysis of the respective manufacturing indicators. Promptly seek to reduce costs (scrap, overtime, etc.), optimize labor, increase production, reduce rejections.
Carry out tours during your shift inspecting the machines under your charge to detect deviations from the production program as well as compliance with quality parameters and take corrective actions to correct them.
Detect nonconformities in the process or product, identify them based on the internal procedure established by the quality area; Provide support in the analysis of the cause of the non-conformity and establish effective countermeasures together with the work team to avoid recurrence.
Authorize incidents of the personnel in charge and ensure coverage of their functions within the operation; generate the weekly payroll and promptly control overtime to achieve the established work efficiency.
Actively participate in security programs such as DDS, Safety Thursdays, BBS, etc., which guarantee the security objective of zero incidents (Zero and even more) within the company. Stay trained and updated on security standards and policies within the company.
Conduct walk-throughs during your shift to identify unsafe conditions or acts and take corrective actions to correct them.
Validate the information reported by operators in the registration of the applicable machine start-up safety checklist and manage activities or resources necessary to solve the detected findings.
Who are we looking for?
FORMAL EDUCATION: (Technical, Specialization, engineering)
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing processes
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: (Desirable) Knowledge of lean manufacturing. Language: intermediate English. Problem detection and solution skills. Results oriented. Capacity and ability to manage people.
