Injection Molding Process Technician
- Set up and prepare injection molding machines and related equipment for production runs.
- Perform mold changes, including the installation and removal of molds, inserts, and related components.
- Monitor and adjust machine parameters to ensure proper molding conditions and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of injection molding machines, identifying and resolving issues such as machine malfunctions, part defects, and material inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with production team members to optimize cycle times, minimize scrap, and improve overall production efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements, including the optimization of machine settings, material handling, and mold design.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies throughout all injection molding operations.
- Document production data, including cycle times, scrap rates, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Support training and mentoring initiatives for junior technicians and production operators.
