Assistant Manager, Human Resources

The HR Assistant Manager will support the HR department in managing various functions, particularly in handling foreign worker management, payroll administration, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of HR best practices within the oil palm plantation and mill industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and documentation of foreign workers.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration regulations and work permit processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of foreign workers and facilitate their welfare programs.
  • Manage and process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with finance for salary disbursements and address payroll inquiries.
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist in financial audits as needed.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Organize training and development programs to enhance employee skills and retention.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and ensure compliance across all HR functions.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with management to understand HR needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Liaise with external partners, such as recruitment agencies and training providers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Education:
  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
  • Human Resources: 5 years (Preferred)
