ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (REF:ZL)

Location: Butterworth, Malaysia
Job Function: Real Estate & Property / Valuation
Work Arrangement: 5 days a week (Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; Sat 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM)
Interview Process: 2 rounds (Face-to-face on-site in Butterworth, Penang)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant General Manager to oversee project lifecycles in the construction and development sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience and a strong background in project management, ensuring technical soundness and resource efficiency from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project life cycles, ensuring technical soundness and resource efficiency.
  • Develop and revise statements of work, including time and cost estimates.
  • Analyze user requirements and usability metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with consultants to create accurate mock-ups for client approval.
  • Meet with clients to refine and evaluate requirements and strategy.
  • Enforce coding standards across all departments.
  • Research and introduce new technologies for management and staff.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, proposals for new land plans, and cost analyses.
  • Coordinate with authorities and consultants to ensure timely project completion.
  • Maintain a pleasant and conducive work environment.
  • Plan and organize construction activities, adhering to regulations and safety protocols.
  • Ensure projects progress smoothly and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Train and guide site team members on safety protocols and project procedures.
  • Engage in business development activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the property/construction and development industry, preferably as AGM/GM.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and human relations expertise.
  • Proficiency in Malay, Mandarin, and English.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
