About the Role:
Connexus UK are delighted to be partnering with our client, a leader in automated storage systems. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will provide critical technical assistance and support to clients, ensuring the smooth operation of automated storage systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer service to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Global System Support:

Provide technical support for automated pallet storage systems in operation globally.

Remote Troubleshooting:

Resolve issues remotely using support interface software, guiding customers over the phone to fix mechanical issues and ensuring minimal system downtime.

Problem Solving:

Anticipate and address issues proactively, using problem-solving skills to diagnose problems even with limited information.

Collaboration:

Work closely with engineering and development teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems as needed.

Customer Training:

Train customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our systems.

On-call Support:

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support when needed.

Continuous Learning:

Keep up to date with products, industry trends, and best practices to provide top-tier support.
About You:

Skills & Qualifications:
Basic understanding of electronics and mechanics is beneficial, but a willingness to learn and develop these skills is key.
Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and internal teams.
