Technical Success Engineer Internship

The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Success Engineer Intern to join our Enterprise Technical Support Team at our European Operations Centre in Cork. Initially, you will immerse yourself in the technical aspects of our Trend Micro products, providing critical technical support to our customers. Your role will begin with mastering the complexities of our cybersecurity solutions, emphasizing our commitment to securing a safe digital environment. As you develop a solid aptitude for technical problem-solving and analytical skills, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, your responsibilities will evolve. The role will shift towards a more proactive engagement, focusing on the early identification and resolution of issues. This proactive stance will become the larger aspect of your responsibilities, where your passion for technology and security plays a pivotal role in enhancing our customer support experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all our customers by addressing their technical concerns and queries with utmost professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to resolve complex customer technical issues, ensuring solutions align with customer needs and company standards.
- Provide comprehensive technical assistance on Trend Micro products, helping customers maximize their security infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough problem analysis and troubleshooting, reproduce issues, and maintain our high standards of quality in problem resolution.
- Utilize Trend Micro methodologies to effectively escalate unresolved issues, working seamlessly with global teams to deliver holistic solutions.
- Foster a positive team environment by supporting the professional development of peers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Continuously monitor customer accounts within your scope to identify and report early signs of issues, ensuring proactive measures are taken for resolution or escalation as needed.
- Utilize the expertise developed during the initial phase of your internship to devise and implement effective solutions to identified problems, enhancing customer satisfaction and security outcomes.
- Stay abreast of the evolving threat landscape and internet security trends to ensure readiness and proactive responses to emerging threats.
- Maintain and deepen knowledge of current and beta (pre-release) Trend Micro products, understanding their integration and support mechanisms.
You Are:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Program: Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT Management or a related technical discipline.
- Passionate About Technology: Deeply interested in cybersecurity, programming, and analytics, with a constant eagerness to stay ahead of the latest technological trends.
- Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Possess strong analytical skills complemented by exceptional attention to detail, crucial for effectively identifying and addressing issues before they escalate.
