Head of Merchandising (Non-Food)
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Developing and implementing merchandising strategies that align with company goals.
- Analyzing market trends to identify opportunities for product range expansion or optimization.
- Curating a product assortment that meets consumer demands and preferences.
- Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality and variety.
- Working closely with marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach.
- Aligning merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.
- Leading and developing a merchandising team.
- Working together on inventory planning and sales performance analysis to improve merchandising effectiveness and growth.
- Working together to set competitive prices and plan for seasonal and promotional campaigns, particularly with the support of suppliers.
- Proven experience in a senior-level merchandising role, with at least 8-10 years of experience in retail or e-commerce.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing merchandising strategies that drive business growth.
- In-depth understanding of retail and e-commerce industry trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for product range expansion or optimization.
- Experience in curating product assortments that meet consumer demands and preferences.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality, variety, and availability.
- Successful track record of leading and developing a high-performing merchandising team.
