CONTRACT
Accounting & Tax Manager
- Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and manage tax filings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax liabilities.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and assessments.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and tax management.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
