Job Overview: As an experienced Travel Consultant, you will play a key role in designing and managing travel itineraries for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with both clients and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of various travel destinations, be adept at creating bespoke travel experiences, and possess strong sales and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert consultation to clients regarding destinations, travel options, accommodations, and experiences. Develop and curate customized travel itineraries based on clients' preferences, interests, and budget. Ensure seamless travel planning, including booking flights, accommodations, transfers, tours, and other related services. Stay up-to-date with travel industry trends, changes in regulations, and destination knowledge. Build and maintain strong relationships with travel partners, suppliers, and tour operators. Handle inquiries, resolve customer issues, and provide after-sales support when needed. Maximize sales opportunities by identifying client needs and offering upsell options like tours, experiences, and upgrades. Manage bookings and travel arrangements using various booking platforms and CRM tools. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving. Meet sales and performance targets as set by the management. Qualifications: Proven experience (3+ years) as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role within the travel industry. Proficiency with travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.) and CRM tools. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple client requests simultaneously and manage time effectively. Sales-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and upselling. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle last-minute changes or issues with a calm and professional demeanor. Preferred: Certification from a travel-related institution or relevant travel industry courses. Familiarity with niche travel markets, such as luxury travel, adventure tourism, or corporate travel.
