Travel trainee
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team as Travel Trainees. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the travel industry while working with a dynamic team of professionals. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, have a keen interest in travel, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Itinerary Planning: Support senior travel consultants in researching and preparing travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and activities.
Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly.
Booking Management: Help in booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services while ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer preferences.
Data Entry: Maintain and update client information, bookings, and travel itineraries in the company’s database.
Market Research: Conduct research on travel trends, destinations, and services to assist in creating attractive travel packages.
Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of the travel industry, company products, and customer service techniques.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the travel team, including organizing documents, processing payments, and handling travel documentation.
Social Media Support: Assist in curating travel content and engaging with customers on social media platforms.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Strong interest in travel and tourism
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience: No prior experience required; previous internships or part-time roles in the travel industry are a plus.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
