The Placement Officer will be responsible for managing and facilitating the placement activities for students within an educational institution or organization. This role involves liaising with companies, organizing placement drives, and providing career guidance and support to students. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar role, coupled with an MBA qualification. Key Responsibilities:
Placement Coordination: Organize and manage placement drives, campus recruitment, and job fairs to connect students with potential employers.
Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with HR and recruitment agencies to secure job opportunities and internships for students.
Interview Preparation: Provide on resume writing assistance, and interview preparation to students.
Data Management: Maintain up-to-date records of placements, student profiles, and employer feedback. Analyze placement data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and industry professionals to align placement activities with industry requirements and student needs.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on placement activities, outcomes, and effectiveness to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: MBA (Master of Business Administration) or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 year of experience in a placement officer role.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
