Job Summary: The PGT Computer Science teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in computer science to senior secondary students. The teacher will create lesson plans, assess student performance, and foster a positive learning environment. The role also involves staying updated with the latest developments in computer science and integrating them into the curriculum.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹42,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

- Instruction and Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the curriculum requirements.
- Teach computer science concepts, including programming, algorithms, data structures, database management, and networking.
- Utilize various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning.
- Student Assessment and Evaluation:
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records.
- Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and create a positive learning environment.
- Address student behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in computer science and education.
- Participate in professional development programs and workshops.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Additional Duties:
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities related to computer science, such as coding clubs or competitions.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or head of department.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience:
- Previous teaching seven to eight experience at the senior secondary level is preferred.
- Industry experience in computer science or IT is an advantage.
- Subject Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of computer science principles and practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.
- Teaching Skills:
- Ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Use of diverse instructional strategies to engage students.
- Technology Skills:
- Familiarity with educational technologies and software.
- Ability to integrate digital tools into the curriculum.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
