Professional Experience description: (state key experiences required):

Effective Operation of Boilers and Turbines with Auxiliaries.
Ensure consistent steam and power output by continually monitoring parameters.
Supervise day-to-day TPP operation activity and Interact with TPP Maintenance (Mech & EI) department for the day-to-day operational related activity.
Ensure Boilers& Turbines operation parameters and safety interlocks.
To ensure full compliance to safety in all respect for all maintenance jobs for all standards by developing and sustaining safety culture at site through various means. To achieve the target of zero harm and injury incident on sustainable basis through effective safety practice and developing environment for the same at workplace
Good coordination shift team members & cross function team member.
Ensure consistent steam and power output by continually monitoring parameters.

Critical Job competencies / Mandatory Skills:

1. Experience of field operating of boilers and turbine during normal and emergency time, safe start-up and stoppage of plant, like to come in round the clock shifts.
2. Sound knowledge in CFBC and AFBC Boilers, Steam turbines, Water chemistry and material handling system (Ash and Coal handling plant) operation. Shift operations through DCS and ensuring field observations & safe controls
3. Coordination of inter functional activities and collaboration with other functional task for TPP Shift process
4. Demonstrate the safety and ensuring safety in work place with compliance of organisation’s audits and reports.
- Ensuring work area basic conditions 5S, Enhance Equipment reliability with OEE and adopting WCM culture/ tools

JOB PROFILE –
Field Operation of Boilers, CHP, Ash handling, Turbines and BOP.
To ensure compliance of all Reliability, quality, safety, & Environment parameters and statutory compliances through strict monitoring of operations.

KRA 1: Efficient Power Plant operation
- Uninterrupted power supply to cement plant.
- Zero Breakdowns & Zero Tripping’s
- Availability of TPP Operation by 100%.

KRA 2: Participant in team strategic projects Participant in team strategic projects
Reduced steam and feed water losses
Boilers and Auxiliaries availability and improve reliability

KRA 3: Cost control & best utilisations Cost control & best utilisations
Reduction Auxiliary Power%
Reduction of Plant Heat rate

KRA 4: WCM
To participate for achieving KPIs / QCDIP as per unit targets, implementing criteria’s of various KFA at GRT - kaizen, abnormality, suggestions, model area, 5s mega cleaning, audits, etc.
To maintain ISO documentations and fulfil requirements within section. To implement SAP systems at unit for respective area.
WHY-WHY Analysis and, abnormalities data entry in SAP.

KRA 5: Safety
- Follow UTCL Safety standards and procedures
- Report Near miss cases
