Collect, review, and verify timesheets and work charts.
Prepare monthly salary sheets that include all adjustments based on paid time off, overtime, bonuses, commissions, or any other factors
Process payroll-related paperwork for new employees and add them to the payroll system
Update all timekeeping, payroll, and benefits data in HRIS and payroll solutions on joining and exits.
Stay updated on any changes to tax or other payroll-related laws that are applicable to our organization.
Provide information to other employees regarding payroll policies and available benefits plans.
Investigate and resolve any complaints or queries regarding payroll and timekeeping data.
Prepare month-end and year-end reports and reconcile issued payroll with bank statements.
Maintain and update employee information in payroll records.
Stay up to date on changes to payroll and timekeeping laws and regulations .
Provide information to employees and managers on payroll, tax, benefits, and collective agreement provisions.
Will be responsible for Internal & External Audits.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
