A) Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervision of Mines Operation.
2. Ensure safety of Men & Machineries under his charge.
3. Statuary Duty of Asst Manager (Mines) as per MMR 1957.
Job Specification :
1. Supervision of Opencast Limestone Mine.
2. Foreman Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
3. As shift in-charge allocation of machinery and manpower handling.
4. Supervision and management of all mining Operations in shift and adherence with safety and legal requirement.
5. Knowledge of SAP, WCM, Safety practices at UTCL and management systems like ISO-9001, ISO-14001, OHSAS 18001.
B) Goals / KRA to be assigned :
1. Shift Manpower Deployment
2. Quality Control
3. Safe Limestone and OB Production
4. Insure compliance of Mines Act as per Foreman (Mines)
5. SAP and E Khanij entry.
Qualification Required : Diploma / Degree in Mining Engineering.
