About the Organisation: CINI is a 50 years old non-profit, non-government organisation (NGO) registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in India. Over more than five decades, we have been partnering with central and state government, national and international donors, non-government organisations and local communities to strengthen the capacity of deprived children and women to improve their health, nutrition, education and protection conditions. Distilling international and national experience, we seek to learn from the poor to improve our interventions in under-serviced rural and urban areas. Founded in 1974, Child in Need Institute (CINI) with an experience of 50 years, reaches out to over 7 million population in the states of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. CINI received the National Award for child Welfare twice in 1985 and 2004. Experience:
Demonstrated knowledge on local child protection issues, protection laws, acts, guidelines
Experience of working with individual cases of children for case work
Proven liasoning and knowledge of the government services, departments and schemes for case linkages.
Experience of community mobilization and working with parents and children for case management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and work collaboratively with local stakeholders and multi-stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Data Management, analysis, interpretation and presentation skills.

Must be fluent in Hindi and English (spoken, written, and reading) and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in public health, demography, statistics, social sciences, economics, international development, or related field or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years progressive responsibility with developmental organizations and experience in MEL for development programs, including developing performance management plans, developing indicators and targets, conducting evaluations, and reporting on project activities.

2. POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrated knowledge on local child protection issues, protection laws, acts, guidelines

Data Management, analysis, interpretation and presentation skills.
Coordinates and supports data collection by project staff and partners, offering training and logistical support as needed.
Manages data processing including transfer, validation, verification, and cleaning procedures.
Work along with District Coordinators for dispersing information through publications, reports and presentations focused on lessons learned, key findings and recommendations to government, donors, partners and stakeholders.
Conducts regular home visits, follow up of cases and develops a case management framework for working on inclusion aspects.

4. REGULATIONS & COMPLIANCE
Accurately completes required documentation within the prescribed timeframes.
Maintains confidentiality standards in accordance with all company and regulatory standards and in line with the India Data Protection Act.
Maintains strict adherence to the organization’s Safeguarding policies ensuring children and vulnerable adults coming in contact with CINI are treated with respect and are free from abuse.
Expected travel: Need-based travel for meetings and case work in respective villages and districts of the project.
