Lead and manage the Indian kitchen team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
Develop and implement innovative Indian dishes that complement our existing menu and reflect seasonal ingredients.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
Ensure strict adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Manage inventory control and cost effectively.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on menu planning and pricing.
Oversee kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow during service hours.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with food purveyors to source high-quality ingredients.
Conduct regular kitchen inspections and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-end Indian restaurant.
Proven track record of leading and motivating a kitchen team.
In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional specialties and cooking techniques.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership qualities, with a focus on mentorship and development.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Passion for Indian food and a desire to create an exceptional dining experience.
