Restaurant operations- F&B captains are responsible for ensuring that the restaurant is set up for service and that service runs smoothly. They may also be responsible for cost control, inventory, and menu planning.
Restaurant maintenance- F&B captains are responsible for ensuring that the restaurant is clean and well-maintained, including performing general housekeeping tasks and ensuring that fixtures and equipment are in good working condition.
Guest satisfaction- F&B captains are responsible for promoting guest satisfaction and building guest loyalty. They may also gather feedback from guests to help ensure that their needs are being met.
F&B captains may work long hours, have irregular shifts, and work on weekends or holidays. They may also need to have physical stamina, as the job can involve physically demanding tasks such as lifting furniture.
