We are looking for a passionate and experienced Tandoor Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) / Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will specialize in Tandoor cooking, delivering high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth operations in the kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present authentic Tandoor dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
Manage the Tandoor section, overseeing the team of junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
Ensure proper preparation and seasoning of food items in accordance with the recipe and guidelines.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the Head Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure a seamless flow of kitchen operations.
Assist in developing new Tandoor recipes and contribute to the overall menu creation.
Mentor and train junior kitchen staff in Tandoor cooking techniques.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a DCDP or CDP, specializing in Tandoor cuisine.
Extensive knowledge of traditional and modern Tandoor cooking techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
A culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.
