We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Indian Curry to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will manage the Indian curry section, ensuring the preparation of high-quality, authentic dishes while maintaining kitchen standards. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all Indian curry dishes.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the highest standards and are delivered promptly.
Manage the Indian curry section, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop new curry recipes and improve existing ones.
Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff in the Indian curry section, ensuring proper techniques and procedures are followed.
Manage inventory for the Indian curry section, including ordering ingredients and managing stock rotation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen policies.
Train and mentor kitchen staff within the Indian curry section.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, with expertise in Indian curry preparation.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
