The Role
The suitable candidate will be responsible for:

The Role
The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the hotel’s luxury standards and financial objectives
- Managing and nurturing long-term relationships with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and maintain high product and service quality
- Leading high-value contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and terms while ensuring quality control
- Leading and developing a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
- Assessing and mitigating risks associated with procurement, including supply chain disruptions and price volatility
- Implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising the hotel’s 5-star standards, balancing cost efficiency with quality
- Setting KPIs and performance criteria for suppliers, regularly reviewing their performance to ensure alignment with hotel standards
- Ensuring all procurement activities comply with relevant health, safety, and legal regulations
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong experience in high-value contract negotiations and managing supplier relationships
- Exceptional command of English, demonstrated in both oral and written communication
- Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation related to procurement
- Proficiency in procurement software and other relevant IT tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets Reference letters from previous employers are required
