Description
A prestigious five-star hotel is seeking a diligent and analytical Budgeting and Reporting Executive to join their finance team for a full-time, non-seasonal position.
The Role
The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing budgeting processes, ensuring accurate financial planning and resource allocation
- Generating comprehensive financial reports and analyzing data
- Managing budget performance, identifying variances, and implementing corrective measures
- Coordinating with departments to align budgets with group goals
- Improving reporting systems for enhanced transparency and accountability
- Contributing to the improvement of financial processes and systems
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in budgeting and financial reporting roles, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and ERP software (preferably Entersoft)
- Exceptional command of English, demonstrated in both oral and written communication
- Strong analytical thinking to support financial decision-making
- Knowledge of budgeting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
- Reference letters from previous employers are required
