Technology and its integration with the reporting capabilities of an organization in Banking and Insurance business sector has been continuously evolving the last decade. Our clients are seeking to streamline their reporting processes, automate their workflows, stay up-to-date with the Regulatory Framework updates/changes, as well as comply to their obligations and timely submit their reports to the Regulatory Authorities.
The opportunity: Our professionals possess diverse industry knowledge, along with unique technical expertise and specialized skills. The team stays highly relevant by researching and discovering the latest Banking IT systems requirements, and by sharing knowledge on a variety of topics with key industry leaders. Our team aims to support organizations to perform their reporting tasks efficiently, by implementing technology-enabled solutions based on our third -party platforms and related tools, providing them with robust reporting infrastructure, which focuses not only on the operational aspects of the tasks, but also on the data quality of their reports. Our projects typically involve managing multiple stakeholders, coordinating with them to analyze their reporting requirements while considering the regulatory authorities and the corresponding framework, and therefore provide them with the most robust, efficient, and streamlined solution. We are currently seeking professionals with a strong interest in Financial Services/Regulatory Reporting to join our team. You will have a great opportunity to expand your business knowledge and technical skills in the areas of Financial Services and Regulatory Reporting, in a variety of projects and in collaboration with other EY service lines. Your key responsibilities:
Support our clients to review current business processes, perform target state analysis, define business requirements, as well as develop functional and technical specifications.
Design and implement automated processes for regulatory reporting/calculations in the areas of Financial Risk Management and Asset & Liability Management (ALM), using technologies such as SQL, Pyhton, No -SQL, as well as reporting mechanisms and tools.
Implementation of risk management solutions including configuration, customization, solution development and integration.
Provide the configuration, customization and integration of reporting solutions/software, for the generation of regulatory reports/disclosures in various formats (excel, xbrl).
Monitor changes provided by the regulators regarding reporting/disclosure requirements.
Compose policy and procedures documentation.
Produce user manuals and provide training to end users.
Testing and Quality Assurance.
Communicate, provide guidance, and establish professional and trust relationships with clients.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek; other languages will be considered an asset.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, science or engineering.
Familiarity with technologies and programming languages such as SQL, Python, ETL tools (e.g. MS SSIS), MS Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds
Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek; other languages will be considered an asset.
Ideally, you will also have:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or other Business Areas (e.g. MBA, Finance, Business Analytics, Risk Management, etc.).
Programming knowledge or relevant experience/training (e.g. in Python, Java, C#).
Knowledge of key banking concepts (products, services).
Background in consulting environment.
