Financial Officer - AKMI International

Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Financial Officer for EU Projects (Grants and others) to become part of our dynamic team in Athens.

Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Financial Officer for EU Projects (Grants and others) to become part of our dynamic team in Athens.
Responsibilities:
As a Financial Officer in EU projects you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:
- Financial Monitoring of national and EU-funded projects
- Preparation of financial reports (Interim, Final)
- Prepare, collect and safely store the supporting documents for financial reports
- Collect and archive administrative files
- Periodically check and update electronic and physical archives
- Communicate with project partners and stakeholders regarding financial and administrative matters
- Expenses monitoring
- Communication with our accounting office
- Operating ERGANI in the framework of our ad-hoc training seminars
- Handle day-to-day office work
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Academic background with a Bachelor or/and a Master’s degree preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, International and European Economics Studies
- At least 1-year experience in the financial management of EU-funded projects
- Excellent English Knowledge (both written and oral).
- Responsibility, consistency, and adherence to strict deadlines
- Travel availability (Schengen and non-Schengen)
- Excellent command of MS Office (mainly Outlook and Excel)
- Knowledge of ERGANI Information System
- Administrative, organizational, and communication skills
