Technical Solution Manager
We are looking for a Weather radar / Remote sensing Technical Solution manager to join our Flagship Business Unit at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. Join us to solve global challenges through cutting-edge technology, with a focus on your development and growth.

What's your role?
You will be part of our Technical Solution Managers team for the flag ship business unit. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to work in close collaboration with our sales and technical experts. Your main responsibility is to provide specialized technical sales support and ensure solutions for customers’ technical requirements utilizing Vaisala´s existing product and services portfolio. Supporting presales marketing and preparation of commercial offers. You will also work closely with research, product development, and project care service teams to ensure technical alignment with customer needs.
Your contribution is based on technical, scientific and application knowledge of remote sensing. Travelling requires from 20-40 days per year. You will report to the Head of Business Portfolio.

What will you bring?

Strong technical expertise, particularly in remote sensing technologies. Weather radars knowledge is considered as an advantage

Excellent communication skills, including engaging with experts, presenting to diverse audiences, and understanding customer needs.

Ability to create technical comprehensive solutions to solve customers needs. Representing the voice of the customer and Collaborating with product management, making sure information regarding customer needs is shared so that it can be used in planning product development roadmaps

Disciplined in collecting information, conducting analyses, and sharing insights.

Academic degree in a relevant field.

Written and spoken English, additional languages are seen as a plus.
