Your role and responsibilities
The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite We are now looking for Operative Quality Specialist to join our team at the IEC LV Motors factory in Vaasa. In this role your main task is to be an active and co-operative driver between production and other departments to ensure continuous quality development. The key target is to ensure high quality performance of the final product which is why the role requires daily presence on-location to ensure operation continuity and good collaboration with the factory. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supporting production in quality related questions and issues • Issuing resolutions in co-operation with several departments (e.g. production, design, R&D, purchasing) • Supporting quality performance monitoring and reporting • Operational handling of non-conformities in incoming inspections and production • Actively developing and supporting quality improvements in product and production quality to meet customer requirements • Participating in local level quality tools and process development and guideline improvements • Supporting and conducting internal audits and supplier audits • Leading and supporting in other development actions in own responsibility areaQualifications for the role
- A M.Sc. or B.Sc. level degree from a relevant field, such as electrical on mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Few years applicable experience, e.g. from quality, manufacturing or purchasing
- Knowledge of quality tools and methods as well as manufacturing methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions
- Excellent co-operation skills
- Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
- Good IT-skills, including SAP QM
- Lean Six Sigma Certification is seen as a strong benefit
