Talent Acquisition Specialist

Linah Farms proudly founded in 1997 is a leading agricultural company, with a fully integrated business model, completing the agricultural value chain from propagation to cultivation, packing and export. We not only produce our acclaimed medjool, but also top-quality barhi dates, mangoes, medicinal herbs and more, depending on the season.
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who would be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for a company’s long-term goals. They factor into this process that people play an important role and will be key players of success going forward.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Determining selection criteria.
  • Sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks.)
  • Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates.
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Create potential candidates pool to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
  • Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics.
  • Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry.
  • Create job ADs Internally & Externally through proper channels.
  • Updating the man-power plan with Division Heads, which will help in identifying hiring needs across all departments & adding proper hiring channel whether internally or externally.

Requirements
  • Proven work experience for 3+ years as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role preferably in FMCG.
  • BSc in Human Resources Management, business management, or a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
