Technical Office Manager
The role of a technical engineer is vital in ensuring that construction projects are executed with precision, meeting quality standards, and adhering to technical methodologies.
Requirements
- Identifying and addressing technical issues within the company
- Designing and implementing technology solutions for the business
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Maintaining network security with the IT team
- Participating in implementing technical office policies and procedures
- Studying project contract documents and preparing shop and coordination drawings based on project design
- a. Coordinate all design development and approval processes to ensure they align with project requirements and standards.
- a. Monitor and enforce adherence to the agreed-upon schedule for design development and shop drawings with subcontractors, ensuring timely progress.
- a. Establish and implement a comprehensive drawing management system to organize and track design-related documents.
- a. Review contract documents and provide technical expertise to the project manager on matters affecting construction, including technical methodologies and their impact on time and cost
- a. Prepare and manage technical queries, addressing them with the client and consultants to ensure clarity and resolution.
- a. Assist in the preparation of method statements and procedures related to construction, both structural and architectural, offering technical insights and features for work aspects.
- a. Coordinate the approval of drawings and take responsibility for distributing approved drawings for construction to relevant site personnel.
- a. Collaborate with site engineers to ensure that all work execution meets the required quality and safety standards. Resolve technical issues across all trades promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Structural / Architecture
- At least 10+ years of experience in technical office
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Auto Cad / Revit and operations management software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
