About Taager


Taager is the first B2B to C startup focused on social sellers- Merchants. We are democratizing the social e-commerce space by enabling budding as well as seasoned entrepreneurs to sell online with no required capital, inventory, or operational experience. We have our Merchants covered from merchandising, warehousing, shipping, cash collection and customer service.

In 2019 we started as a team of 8 people, now we are over 350 employees across Egypt, KSA and the UAE. We serve more than 34K social e-commerce sellers from incredibly diverse backgrounds – from students earning a part-time income to highly ambitious digital marketing experts looking to become solo entrepreneurs. The sellers on our platform benefit from access to 2,500+ highly marketable products. About the Role


As part of the Central People & Culture Team, you'll serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional business leaders to drive Taager’s Talent growth across our 5 regional offices (Egypt, UAE, KSA, Iraq, Kuwait). You'll be trusted to work autonomously to develop and execute on sourcing strategies, drive an exceptional candidate experience, and champion transparency, and inclusiveness in our interview and assessment processes. The Talent Acquisition Partner is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships, often providing candidates with their first impression of Taager. The scope of this role expands beyond strategic talent acquisition and includes other talent-related projects and work needed to support the evolution of our customer-centric business journey.



What will you do
including but not limited to 60-70% Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process from sourcing, initial phone screens, to final stage negotiations and hiring to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of job requisitions across all functional areas with varying levels of seniority.
  • Champion diversity and culture in all aspects of the hiring process, from content of job descriptions, build recruitment strategies, and formulation of interview panels as well as candidate experience.
  • Contribute and proactively improve hiring processes & procedures, employer branding, onboarding, and organizational planning that will allow the company to scale and transform effectively.
  • Partner and develop strong relationships with stakeholders to provide consultation on recruitment/interview strategies, ensure alignment on specifications for each role, and hire best practices.
  • 30-40% Relationship and Project Management; including but not limited to Strategic Talent, Talent Management and Succession Planning, Reporting, Employer Branding, Vendor Management
  • Maintains current knowledge of business functions, talent mapping, and pipelining for niche roles, plus headcount planning
  • Network with academic institutions, college programs, and outplacement firms as needed.
  • Serves as a brand ambassador and participates in strategic diversity HR projects and staffing events
  • Use reporting and metrics to improve recruiting efficiency and outcomes where applicable.


What will make you successful


Minimum Candidate Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 5+ years of scale-up recruiting experience.
  • Proven track record of large volume retail recruitment, managing multiple requisitions at various stages.
  • Must have experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Must have experience with Linked In Recruiter for posting jobs, Boolean searches, and sending In Mail.
  • Strong sourcing and interview skills and ability to select high-quality talent.
  • Strong effective communicator, that can autonomously manage relationships with candidates and hiring managers, negotiation of salaries, and extending offers.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative with the ability to flex in support of the timelines, and deliverables of team members.
  • A problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions, handle confidential information and work in an agile environment.
