About the Role: The Supply Chain and Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, ensuring the timely acquisition of products, efficient demand planning, and end-to-end management of procurement cycles. This role includes searching for innovative products, acquiring and negotiating with competitive suppliers, and leading a team of supply chain analysts to ensure Taager’s operations run smoothly and cost-effectively. The role will support strategic growth by optimizing supplier relationships, managing inventory levels, and aligning supply chain efforts with business goals.
Role Responsibilities:
Demand Planning & Forecasting:
Develop accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with the commercial and merchant growth teams.
Implement robust demand planning tools and methodologies to balance inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Ensure alignment between demand plans and procurement strategies to meet customer demand on time.
Procurement Cycle Management (PR & PO):
Oversee the complete procurement cycle, from purchase requisitions (PR) to purchase orders (PO), ensuring timely and cost-efficient procurement.
Manage vendor relationships to resolve issues related to supply delays, quality concerns, or pricing disputes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, internal policies, and procurement best practices.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Manage and mentor a team of supply chain and planning analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development for team members.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within supply chain operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and optimize supply chain performance.
About you:
A minimum of 5 years experience in Supply and Procurement management and Planning
Proven experience working with suppliers in China, UAE, and KSA markets.
Strong Problem Solving Skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance between their needs to achieve common goals.
Ability to make decisions sharply and quickly
Strong skills in demand forecasting, procurement cycle management, and contract negotiations.
Strong negotiation capabilities with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms.
Ability to use data to drive decisions and improve processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholder
