Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in configuration management within the rail and metro industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry-specific standards and best practices.
Proven track record of leading configuration efforts for large-scale rail or metro projects, with a focus on system integration and compliance with safety-critical standards.
In-depth knowledge of configuration management tools, such as IBM Rational Clear Case, SVN, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Main Responsibilities
Lead the configuration management process for rail and metro projects, including the identification, control, and documentation of configuration items and related data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain configuration management plans, baselines, and change control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to verify the accuracy and completeness of configuration documentation and support configuration status accounting.
Provide expertise in implementing configuration management tools and best practices to streamline workflows and improve project outcomes.
Participate in design reviews, system integration activities, and validation efforts to ensure alignment with configuration baselines and requirements.
