Mechanical construction and maintenance Senior Engineer
Job Description:
Oversee HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning) and mechanical systems (pumps, motors, firefighting, plumbing) in the building.
Lead and supervise the technician team for system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Assist in evaluating the performance of the FM company, ensuring adherence to KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
Define and implement KPIs and SLAs for HVAC and mechanical systems, monitoring performance for improvement.
Manage tickets and troubles, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation. Coordinate with the FM company and internal teams
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for reliable system performance as well as corrective maintenance
Collaborate with vendors for equipment procurement, repairs, and maintenance services. Ensure compliance with agreements and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with regulations and implement safety procedures. Conduct audits and provide safety training
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on system performance, metrics, issues, and recommendations
Monitor and oversee energy-saving activities of the FM company to achieve optimum energy use.
Provide engineering expertise, recommendations and solutions for HVAC and mechanical systems.
Oversee the management of spare parts inventory and procurement
Performing quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely
Analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and provide solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation.
Leading the design and engineering process for HVAC and mechanical systems
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide solutions.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, advancements, and emerging technologies
Ensure understanding & compliance with Majorel vision mission and values and follow regulatory Majorel policies & procedures.
Ensure subordinates comply with the code of conduct and policies.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. Additional certifications or vocational training in HVAC or mechanical systems are preferred From 3 to 4 years’ experience at the same position
4 years of experience in HVAC and mechanical system maintenance and operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to take ownership of projects.
Proficiency in mechanical systems, such as pumps, motors, plumbing.
Good computer skills for system monitoring, documentation, reporting, and communication
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning
Focus on energy-efficient solutions, sustainable & best practices,
Good English proficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong project management skills
Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Excellent leadership.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
