Construction & Maintenance Supervisor Engineer
Overall Responsibilities:
- Supervising the Construction and Maintenance teams in Alexandria sites.
- To lead and supervise the maintenance team to perform the preventive maintenance activities for the electromechanical and Civil systems in the assigned premises.
- Supervise the contractors during construction works and coordinate with the consultant and contractors to ensure full adherence to quality and specifications.
- Review the shop drawings and suggest amendments based on the client`s standards.
- Estimating budgets for the new projects and working on BOQs
- Reviewing and editing the as-built drawings
- Supervise project sites during construction to monitor progress and consult with contractors and on-site engineers.
- Supervision of daily maintenance activities carried out by the maintenance contractor in premises.
- Review and approve maintenance or construction contractor payments.
- Review the replacement list submitted by the contractor.
- Review and approve PM monthly schedule.
- Hold meetings with maintenance contractor to discuss the maintenance activities during PM and CM
- Responsible for the preparation of annual maintenance contract with the maintenance contractor.
- Planning & management of spare parts inventory, budget & expenditures
- Supervising and providing guidance to the construction and maintenance team.
- Draft and review reports and specifications, including construction schedules, environmental impact studies and project designs.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and staff information.
- Follow up seating plans of the site.
- Communicating with all stakeholders in project to achieve all objectives.
- Prepare and review all tender process regarding to any project and furniture.
- Ensure understanding & compliance with Majorel vision mission and values and follow regulatory Majorel policies & procedures.
- Ensure subordinates comply with the code of conduct and policies.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor`s Degree, Faculty of Engineering or Facilities Management
- At least from 7 to 10 years’ experience since graduation
- Good English.
- Extensive experience in projects and maintenance.
- Extensive experience in Auto-Cad
- Extensive experience in planning using tools such as Primavera
- PMP is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Strong understanding of Operation and Maintenance function
- Excellent leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Working Effectively On-Site Under Pressure
- Ability to identify and solve complex technical problems efficiently.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Organized, Ownership and Follow up skills
- Time Management & Conflict Resolution
