Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and enforcing HR policies with assistance from Corporate
- Enforce and communicate organizational policies and programs and ensure labor law and regulatory compliance.
- Hiring & On-boarding support
- Provides internal support and partnership to business lines to deliver required human resources expertise.
- Evaluate, select, and oversee vendors that provide supplemental HR processes and services.
- Coordinates with Corporate HR staff to process and maintain employment contracts, attendance, and other records.
- With the Managers and Corporate to resolve employee relations issues
- Assist team member with benefit questions/concerns
- Assist with talent acquisition and recruitment in Costa Rica
- Onboarding of new hires
- Work with Talent Development on Performance Management
- Gathering and analyzing HR Metrics
- Culture advocate
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor’s and/or 4+ years of related experience
- Bi-lingual – Spanish/English - Advanced
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communications
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong rapport and influence
- Commitment, dedication and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- A results orientation and excellent decision-making and analysis skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize among multiple projects simultaneously
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including working independently and navigating ambiguity
- Strong customer focus and demonstrated leadership ability
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Workday experience
- Agile HR
Physical Requirements:
- Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
- Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
