The Data Visualization Team is looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and data driven solutions. This person will work closely with stakeholders to collect and understand requirements, plan and execute projects, and develop impactful data visualizations that support strategic decision-making. This person will work translating the business goals into analytical insights to ensure that the organization leverages data effectively to drive performance.
What you’ll do

Engages with business stakeholders and product owners to understand business needs, and translate requirements into captivating designs and effective, sustainable solutions towards using quantitative and analytical techniques.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the business objectives and challenges, ensuring alignment with the Data Viz COE capabilities.
Candidates for this position should be able to develop internal initiatives, understand data warehouse/Data lakes principles, and software like SQL, Google Sheets, and Excel, as well as ability to document requirements and manage projects.
Utilize advanced analytical techniques to provide deep insight that inform strategic decision making.
Continuously refine and enhance the dashboard to meet evolving business requirements and improve usability.
Strong proficiency with data visualization; the candidate can confidently choose the best visualization style for the given context.
Balance great-looking dashboards and visuals with meaningful and impactful information and analytics.
Suggest drafts and compelling data visuals that synthesize the key elements in data stories and messages being communicated.
Creates layouts, comps, and prototypes, to communicate vision design and final design requirements to internal stakeholders and team mates.
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to develop strategies and solutions based on data-driven insights.

What experience you need

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Data Science, information systems or related.
5+ years of Business analysis , data analytics or a similar role with focus on translating business needs into data solutions and insights.
3+ years of work experience in Tableau / Tableau Prep
3+ years of working experience with standard query language (SQL) and database use
1+ years of working experience with Python
2+ years of working with SDLC
3+ years experience working in an Agile environment
English proficiency B2 or above

Proven analytical abilities creating visualizations using Tableau and Tableau Prep
Google Big Query Experience, particularly levering BQ - ML for building and deployment models.
Experience working with SDLC
Proven experience generating insights using python or similar
Experience working with business stakeholders in multiple regions
