An introduction to the art of motion pictures. The course will examine a representative selection of films covering the history of cinema and many of its basic aesthetic premises.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate must hold an Ph D or MA in Film Studies or equivalent, or an MFA in Film Production, with preference given to applicants with a Ph D in Film Studies or equivalent. Experience with the history of film is essential. University teaching experience is an asset.
Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
FILM 100 is currently scheduled as an on campus class Thursday at 1800-2045.
